Harmonie Logo

Two new collections have arrived from Harmonie and we're excited about them!
Both collections have acrylic stamp sets, lace trims, elegant class a peel stickers
(like the Elizabeth Craft stickers we love to use with the fine glitters and our Copic markers),
intricate chipboard accents and borders ..... and wonderful papers, too.

OK, enough rambling, here are some samples to show you what we mean.

The Harmonie La Banquise Winter Collection:

Cards shown here are using a combination of the papers (including the Kraft Damask), chipboard elements and those classic stickers and trims!

This layout uses several of the papers - check out the CUTE polar bears! Did I say "Polar Bears"?! Oh, yes, there are cute Polar Bears on papers and an acrylic stamp set that's way cute. How about the diecut "doily" paper and chipboard branch? The Harmonie chipboard accents are definitely distress ink and distress stain magnets!

Here's a look at the Shabby Love Collection and more layout ideas.

Oops, almost forgot to mention that we got in another shipment of the Harmonie Calendar Kits. Hurry in for these, as they are super popular and won't last long!
Here's Lynn's sample of the calendar January sheet, using the La Banquise line, Harmonie acrylic month and date stamps and some Walnut Distress Stain to spiff up the chipboard frame.

"Tag-You're It!" - October Featured Card Showcase

Only 2 more months left of this year's Card Club Exchange! We've had 10 months of fabulous designs, colorful creations and wonderful inspirations. This month's theme "Tag-You're It!" seemed to be a bit of a challenge...one of the goals of our Card Club Exchange is to inspire and in doing so may mean that some of us have to step out of our comfort zone to participate. This month's participants stepped up and created gorgeous cards using a tag element (or two or three) in their designs.

This month's featured card designed by Angi C. uses a tag as part of the layered elements. Take a look:

SPCC Tag Youre It

This card is made up of several layers:

1. The kraft cardstock base with inked edges.

2. The doily cut from the Cheery Lynn Designs Doily Die (English Tea Party) is spritzed with Perfect Pearls Mist (Pearl.)

3. Inked circle of Little Yellow Bicycle's Kitchen Medley.

4. THE TAG (Sizzix: Tim Holtz Bigz - Tiny Tags & Tabs) is inked along the edges, too.

And the Copic colored mini Magnolias (Mini Kitchen Tilda, Mini Tin Boxes) are adorable and perfectly matched with the sentiment stamp (Kiss the Cook)!

Sometimes the little details add so much more:

If you liked this card, make sure to stop by the store to see this one up close and the other card designs!

November's theme is "Thank You". I'm really looking forward to this exchange! We're all going to need a few these cards after the holidays.

Here are some important Card Club Dates:

November "Thank You" Drop Off 3rd Saturday: Nov. 19

December Theme: "White Elephant - Your Choice"  YOU pick your theme! Follow the guidelines (10 cards-same design, 10 recipes (1 per card), etc.) This is a great time to finish up those cards for the month you missed or to use cards for a theme we didn't cover this year! **

Drop Off 3rd Saturday: Dec. 17

Note: Cards need to be dropped off by the close of business - 6 pm - on the 3rd Saturday. The busy holidays are coming...we simply cannot accept late cards - thank you for your consideration! Cards can be picked up the 4th Saturday of each month after 12pm.

To see The Card Club Exchange previous Featured Cards, click the link in the right sidebar labeled "SP Card Club Exchange" and enjoy!

2012 Card Club Exchange Themes are being finalized and will be announced soon!

This weather is perfect for getting crafty - stay warm and happy stamping!
