Did you stop by our eclips event on Friday? Ken and Jill were working hard showing us the ins and outs of this electronic cutting machine…glue pens, glitter paper, fabric, boxes, dry embossing, magnet sheets, colored polyshrink (the shrinky dink plastic!) grunge paper and engraving were among the discussions.

Questions about welding letters, Tim Holtz shapes, upcoming designs and features, instructions on how to do this and that…Ken and Jill were able to answer our questions and educate those of us who were able to stop by their tables.

The make & takes were a hands on experience! Customers were able to design and cut their own projects under the guidance of our experts.

Here’s Pauly showing off her pillow box and Kathleen’s scalloped treat holder. The pillow box frame is outlined with a permanent marker using the pen holder and then the frame was resized and cut out just inside the marker lines…fabulous!

Kathleen’s scalloped treat holder was cut out using the eclips and then that sweet heart was sized and cut out…the pen holder was used with a glue pen to draw the scalloped heart a bit bigger…and then it was glittered! Perfect lines of glue for perfect lines of glitter…the possibilities!

Pauly Hemersbach!!

Pauly (on the right)  was the lucky winner of the eclips tool kit that we had a drawing for last Friday night when Ken and Jill from Sizzix came to demo the eclips machine. All of us who attended felt like winners to have them here for the evening!!

If you missed the eclips make n take last Friday night - no worries. We have another special event planned for this coming Saturday, Nov 20, from 11am - 3pm, doing multiple make n takes. So mark your calendar and join us this Saturday for more die cutting projects!
