 Bible Journaling & Lettering
"Inside and Outside the Margins"
Saturday, August 8, 8 - 11pm

SA Bible Supplies

 SA Genesis

So you want to create and journal in your Bible margins, but are hesitant ...
you're not alone and we'll tackle it together, from putting that pen down on the
page of your Bible. What if you don't have a Journaling Bible? The rumors are true
and there seems to be a nationwide shortage of the Journaling Bibles, which is not a
bad thing, but if you don't have one, you might want to consider a Moleskin Journal/
planner. The pages are similar in weight and color and it takes out some of the anxiety of
creating in the Bible. Once you practice and gain some confidence, then you can jump
into the Bible.

The first half of the workshop, Stephanie will talk about how to start and what to
start with. Then we'll play with simple lettering, shading, coloring and a little
stamping. The second half of the workshop we'll experiment with paints, stamps,
additional lettering and some simple embellishments with patterned paper and
washi tapes. BRING: Journaling Bible and/or Moleskin Journal Planner (blank or
lined that pages can be torn out of, pencil, white eraser, assorted washi tapes
and scraps of patterned paper (or patterned Project Life cards that can be cut up
for tabs), glue stick, basic watercolors and water brush, Zig Platinum marker, Uniball
Signo Ultra Micro Black pen and micro black pen. $55

Hope Notes Workshop
Sunday, August 9, 11am - 2pm

 SA Hope Notes

 SA Hope Notes Boxes

Every single one of us needs a reminder that we are loved, that we matter and that
there is hope. Together we'll create little cards that will hold these reminders.
Reminders that will be kept with us and reminders that will be given away. We'll create
two die cut boxes and five cards for each box. Each card can be embellished as you wish with
washi, stamps, stencils and more and the boxes will hold the cards you create. This box
is also the perfect size to hold gift cards, sweets and the popular INSTAX sized instant photos.
BRING: Signo white pen, Multi Matte Medium/Ranger Glue & Seal, 2-3 foam brushes,
Black Soot Distress Marker, Craft Mat, assorted Distress Paints and stencils. $55
