I began my career 15 years ago as a sales representative in the stamp and scrapbook industry. I am a certified Copic Marker instructor. I have always had a love for crafts so the stamp and scrapbook industry is a perfect fit for me. During the years I have had the opportunity to meet and work with designers, manufacturers, store owners and consumers in the industry and have learned so much about the products and how to use them – it has really been fun! I especially enjoy teaching classes and sharing techniques.

An affection for specialty papers and stationery was the springboard for my stamping journey. When I saw the limitless possibilities for rubber stamping, 21 years ago, I jumped in! The possibilities are still limitless, and I still love the hobby.
My enjoyment of paper techniques, stamping, and creating hand crafted keepsakes led me on a natural progression into scrapbooking. I especially enjoy incorporating stamping and quilting techniques in my cardmaking and scrapbooking applications. Experimenting with new techniques and products, and being innovative with the basics keep these hobbies fun and stimulating for me. Teaching at Simple Pleasures is very gratifying to me; it is a treat to be able to share my passion with others! Cathy's Classes

Elizabeth Dillow is the author of The Scrapbooker's Almanac, a featured teacher at Big Picture Scrapbooking, and a co-founder of Write. Click. Scrapbook. She worked as a contributing editor for Simple Scrapbooks until the magazine closed in 2009, but continues to work very hard sharing the philosophy that Simple Scrapbook pioneered: scrapbooking should be guilt-free and fun (and not necessarily in chronological order).
Elizabeth is most comfortable with her camera in hand and has been teaching photography and design workshops throughout the United States since 2001. She currently lives in Cheyenne, Wyoming with her husband and three daughters. Elizabeth's Classes

Conceived and brought forth sometime in the waning years of the Truman administration, Fred B. Mullett spent much of his formative years bouncing between his familial home in Kansas City, and various venues, such as Wisconsin, Arkansas, the hinterlands of Kansas and Missouri, and the mountains of Colorado. His traipsing about finally landed him in Seattle, WA. He lived there from 1983 to 2009, but has since returned to the Midwest.
After becoming enchanted by the art of nature printing - and especially Gyotaku (fish printing), Fred started his first rubber stamp company ("Fred B. Mullett, Stamps From Nature Prints") in 1993. It was intended as a part-time endeavor while attending the University of Washington/School of Fine Art for his second degree. One thing led to another, and in 1997 all other employment, recreational and educational activities were put on hold in order to concentrate on the business of being in business. He still finds time, however, to ponder both the big and little questions of it all, and break out the toys in order to make really big paintings about nothing in particular. Fred's Classes

Holly has been preparing to be a Paper Craft teacher since she first held pencil. She graduated from MSU with a BS in studio art and advertising. After a brief foray into advertising and graphic design, in her twenties, she found her true calling as a stamp illustrator.
In 1995 she started "WhipperSnapper" Designs at Cathy Smith's gentle urging. After successfully growing the company for 5 years she sold to her best customer in 2000. She spent the next couple of years pursuing a family and illustrating new stamps for WhipperSnapper. Holly and her husband Josh are the proud parents of Harrison and Lasson who follow in their Mommy's love of art. Holly continues to be inspired creatively in many ways but teaching others is a passion she still loves, even after 10 years. Holly's Classes

I'm a confirmed and committed crafter, having enjoyed so many different avenues of crafting over the years - from sewing and cross stitch to beading and clay. But no craft has given me as much enjoyment as stamping, papercrafting and scrapbooking have. As a child, my heart sped up every time I walked into an art supply store - today as an adult, stamp and scrapbooking stores do that for me. I love new techniques, old techniques and new ways to use old products. I especially enjoy making cards, books, boxes, and dimensional items such as the Outlines Ornament.
Other than substitute teaching for a number of years, I'm a relative "newbie" and look forward to sharing with you a really fun "ooh aah" project that is only limited to your own imagination. Stamper's Sampler has published two of my cards that I sent in with my subscription renewal- one was a Christmas card and the other was a Halloween card. Mostly, I enjoy the look on my friends and family's faces as they open a card or gift that I've made and express their approval. It just makes my day. Linda's Classes
